About
The Hult Prize is a year-long global program that challenges university students to build for-profit startups that tackle the world's biggest social and environmental problems. The competition runs across five progressive phases: • Qualifiers (September – February) — teams pitch on campus at their own university, or apply through the Open Application if their campus has no programme. • Regional Summits — winning teams compete against peers from across their region. • Global Accelerator — the strongest teams join an intensive accelerator programme. • Global Finals — finalists pitch on the world stage. • The winning team receives USD 1,000,000 in seed funding to scale their venture. Over 200,000 people participate each year across 130+ countries.
Eligibility
All members of the team must currently be enrolled students in a degree-seeking programme at any university or college. Teams must have between 2 and 4 members. All team members must be at least 18 years of age. Open to students of any nationality and any field of study.
