The Role
The Finance Team supports and empowers Palantirians through day-to-day operations and creative problem-solving. The International Tax Manager is responsible for supporting the company’s direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions worldwide. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and technical background with the ability to navigate complex and evolving tax matters with a practical business-oriented approach. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, solutions driven and comfortable working cross functionally to support accurate compliance, effective risk management and scalable tax processes.
Core Responsibilities
Review foreign tax returns and statutory financialsPrepare foreign tax return true-up calculationsReview certain US international tax returns and calculationsManage and maintain proper documentation to support various international tax related attributes, including earnings and profits, foreign taxes paid, and book tax differencesManage filing of VAT/GST returnsPrepare and review VAT/GST reconciliations, working closely with the International Accounting TeamManage international tax payments and refunds and provide support on monthly tax payment forecastResearch and provide technical expertise to address complex international tax issues and draft memorandaAnalyze and interpret tax laws and regulations in collaboration with internal tax team and external tax advisorsAssist customers with international tax related matters, such as withholding taxAssist with transfer pricing documentationWhat We Value

7+ years of relevant experience at a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department of a multinational public companyAbility to drive results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with a high level of integrityOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact and build relationships across all levels of the organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionalsHybrid schedule: Ability to work onsite twice a week
